Jason “Jace” Alexander , who is best known for directing the crime drama Law and Order, hauled tail from his upper middle class neighborhood in Dobbs Ferry, New York, after pleading guilty to having and watching kiddie porn.

Alexander had been living in the 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 3000 square foot home since September of 2000.

Before pleading guilty to having and watching kiddie porn, Alexander placed the house on the market for the price of $1.299 million.

On April 25, 2016, the house sold for $1.347 million. And less than a month later, Alexander received a probation sentence of 10 years as well as the requirement that he register as a sex offender.

Alexander was facing seven years in prison. On July 29, 2015, Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore charged Alexander with two felony counts of sharing pornographic images of children and watching pornographic images of children who are 16 years old and or younger.

Investigators were alerted to Alexander’s criminal activity after an investigator was able to link Alexander’s home IP (internet protocol) address to a porn site that showed children engaging in sexual activity.

Alexander was arraigned before a judge in Westchester County and bail was set at $10,000.

Soon after Alexander’s arrest made the news, he stepped down from his job as the 2nd vice president of the Directors Guild of America.
